• Getting to the entrance to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link Station

To get from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pratunam by train, upon exiting, get to the first floor (follow the signage), where the entrance to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Rail Link Station is.

• Getting the tickets

The tickets can be bought from the ticket vending machines or at the ticket office. There are clear instructions on how to purchase the tickets at the vending machines.

The price of the tickets for the City Line start from THB15 up to THB45. To get to Pratunam, we need to alight at the Ratchaprarop Station and the fare is THB40. There is an option to purchase a single trip ticket or to use the stored value card (smart pass) to top up and pay for the tickets. Note that there are a THB30 deposit and a THB30 issue fee for the purchase of a new card.

• Get from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pratunam by Train

It takes about 25 minutes (6 stops) to get from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to Pratunam by train. The train runs from 05:31 to 00:00 daily, at intervals of about 10 to 15 minutes, depending on the time and day. Get the timetable here.

The train is often filled with both locals and tourists. There are no special compartments to store the pieces of luggage so be prepared to place them in front of you.

Upon reaching Ratchaprarop Station, look around for the tall buildings like Novotel, Glow Pratunam or Amari Watergate hotel. Orientate yourself and begin your 10 to 20 minutes (depending on where you stay and how distracted you are by the street vendors) walk to your hotel in Pratunam.
