Easily accessible via the KTX and domestic flights, below are the top 5 things to do in Busan.
1. Eat all the seafood
Being a port city, expect nothing less from the freshness of the seafood. Abalone can be easily ordered in most restaurants at an affordable price. Busan is also famous for its fish cake that can be found almost everywhere.

Alternatively, enjoy a lobster meal at the food court in Lotte Department Store at Seomyeon for only USD20.

Fancy an eel or abalone after a walk along the beach? Be spoilt for choices for large varieties of seafood along the streets near Haeundae Beach.

2. Visit Haeundae Beach
Spend a day chilling at Haeundae Beach, which can be conveniently reached after taking a walk along the shopping streets of Haeundae.



How to get there:
- Take Subway to Haeundae Station.
- Take Exit 5.
- Walk towards the beach and maybe do a little shopping along the way
3. Take lots of Instagram worthy photos at Gamcheon Culture Village
The colorful houses, along with the wall murals are must-sees when in Busan. The slopes and stairs can be intimidating but definitely worthwhile.




How to get there:
- Take Subway to Toseong Station.
- Take Exit 6.
- Walk towards a bus stop in front of Pusan National University Hospital
- Take either Bus 1-1, 2 or 2-2 to Gamcheon Culture Village at top of the hill.
Or simply take a taxi from Toseong Station, which is only a 10 minutes ride away and cost about KRW3000.
4. Sweat it all out at Spa Land
A trip to South Korea is never complete without visiting the Jijimbang. Spa Land is a traditional Korean spa with a whopping area of 8264.5m². Located conveniently at Shinsegae Centum City, there are 13 sauna rooms, 22 spas, an open-air foot spa and lots of space for people to rest in between. - Take Subway to Centrum City.
- Enter from Gate 4 of Shinsegae mall.
5. Experience the Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival
Okay, technically, this is not in Busan but come springtime, tourists flock to Jinhae from Busan. Experience the cherry blossom event with loads of street food and strawberries while walking along streets filled with cherry blossoms.

- Take Subway to Sasang Station.
- Walk towards Seobu Intercity Bus Terminal.
